About LPG Heating & Hot Water Systems
LPG appliances work in much the same way as mains gas appliances. They are so similar that some gas boilers can be converted to use LPG. The main difference is that fuel is stored in a tank at the property as opposed to delivered through a pipeline.
LPG tanks can be purchased or in some cases rented from the gas supplier. LPG tanks are often situated above ground. If you are concerned that the tank will take up space or be unsightly, there are uderground LPG tanks available.
Modern condensing boilers are now available for LPG heating and hot water systems. This makes an already efficient even more efficient. These systems use the hot gases that are normally wasted to increase efficiency to 90% or more.
