Which Oil Fired Central Heating System?
Just as with gas central heating systems, oil fired systems can use conventional or combination boilers. Some modern boilers are designed to recycle the heat with an extra heat exchanger. In doing so, hot exhaust gases are used to pre-heat the water in the boiler system. This reduces running costs and is kinder to the environment.
Oil fired systems can do almost everything that a gas system can but they do require an oil tank that is permanently housed on your property. Deciding where the tank is to be situated is something that you should discuss with your engineer. We can offer comprehensive advice about this and all other aspects of your oil fired system installation.
